Be careful not to buy this for a 5 -7 year old, as it can be challenging for them to figure out how to transform them to the correct specs. Only because the material is made of hard plastic that if you push and pull it the wrong way, it may likely break. Not that ours broke, but it feels not flimsy, but fragile. However, it served the purpose of excitement for my 5 yr old grandson, except he felt lost in figuring out how to transform them. Grandma had to do it, and yes, we saved the day!
