Like others here, I picked up this book and could not put it down. It is extremely interesting, well written and researched, and compelling. I wanted to write this review now because it resonated with me so much that I immediately went out and bought the spices and one ayurvedic herb (triphala, readily available at my local food coop) and started to do step one about 2 days after I read this book.I want to let everyone know that I have had results surprisingly fast. It's subtle but after a week I started noticing I was less tired at work, and that coffee didn't give me the afternoon let down anymore (perhaps because I'm drinking the tea during the day so much too). On day 10 I weighed in and had lost 5 pounds. Not only that, on day 10 three people who don't know each other commented that my eyes looked really bright and that they could see my face looked slimmer. Stage 1 is fairly easy to implement - go to bed by 10, meditate, drink this tea during the day, dry brush, and journal cravings (that's harder for me to remember to do) so I'm pretty surprised by these results. I feel so much better already!I haven't felt this kind of resonance with a so-called diet book since I read Eat to Live - and I felt a lot more excited about The Prime because the doctor tells you that you will naturally stay away from food that is bad for your body. In such a short time I have found that this is TRUE. Just try it. I'm going to buy copies for my friends without waiting for the soft cover book to come out, it's just that excellent!
