Columbia Men's Big & Tall Prime Peak Soft Shell Jacket - Waterproof, Windproof & Breathable for Hiking, Camping & Outdoor Adventures

My Husband bought this Jacket in a 2XLT even though he typically wears a 3XL. He can zip it up but it is very tight and snug. It is a perfect light weight, fleece lined, warm coat and perfect for temperatures around and above freezing. He wears it comfortably unzipped when the temperature is between 30-40*, and I am sure tougher people could wear it in colder weather but we live in Texas so we typically don't have to.this is the second Columbia soft-shell I've had. Loved the first one. love this one so far. I'm 6-4 for the sleeves are long enough. Fit is great. blocks the wind so a puffy jacket under is warm enough on most days skiing. got it right Columbia.Lol! I owned this coat prior to this order an wore the #&!! out of it since 2006. I used for riding my bicycle in Chicago; Spring, Fall, an Winter. Its great for blocking wind, an has a sporty look. The only small difference between this jacket an the former, is that the side pockets are smaller. Which is great for the look, not as easy to stuff my huge winter gloves in.Love this jacket. It runs a little bigger than what i thought by usually one size but it is amazing. I worked in the hospital and it was always cold and we can only wear certain jackets and styles with our scrubs. This was approved with my boss and i really love this jacket. Its worth all the money i spent and i would most definitely buy another one.true to size,repels moisture well,soft yet thick enough to be windproof and durable,my #1 ski jacket,great freedom of movement,I'm 6'4" 270,Tall XXL fits perfectNot near as warm as I had hoped and doesn't do much for wind even. Bought this for a trip to Colorado in January. It wasn't particularly cold (30s-40s) and the wind sliced right through this jacket. Ended up renting a jacket while there and I'm not usually one to get cold. Feels like a nice quality, durable jacket and looks nice. The chest pocket is convenient too.the color is darker blue than what appears in the picture - ad says water and wind resistant - jacket and packaging upon arrival says its wind reistant.. item size is good. disappointed i received it today and the item is now $6 cheaper than when i ordered it 4 days ago. oh well... it wasn't all that expensive to begin with, but not what i thought it was going to be.Softshell fleece jackets are a fantastic invention. They are warm, light weight, wind blocking and repel rain. Add a fleece vest under this jacket and you've got a good winter jacket. I prefer these to the puffy jackets, grab one while you can.
